My printer doesn't recognize the HP ink cartridge.
If your HP ink cartridge is not recognized by your printer, check to see whether you are using the right cartridge for your model of printer. If you are, check that the cartridge is seated correctly in its holder, enabling the contacts to meet. This is done by removing the cartridge from the printer and putting it back in again carefully. If your cartridge is still not being recognized, switch off your printer, wait for a short period and switch it back on again. You should now have a message on your screen telling you that you have not inserted an original cartridge. Confirm with yes and use your printer as normal.
