It is time to update your product catalog or design your first one. Having a catalog allows you to visually share what you sell and for it to be successful there are a few tips that we would like you to take into consideration.
Tip 1- Eye Pleasing Design is the first thing to consider. Work on your front and back design to be eye catching. Research shows that many customers start from the back of a catalog and work their way to the front. Make sure not to clutter the beginning or the end of your catalog use your logo and work with the colors.
Tip 2 - Consistency with Design. Try to use the same font styles and sizes throughout the cataloge no more than three different ones are the best bet.
Tip 3 - Use Photos of your Products. It is important you allow potential clients to visualize what they can purchase from you. Always use color photos for catalog printing. Studies show that color catalogs sell 25% more than black and white.
Tip 4 - Save Money when Printing. In order to save money stick to standard catalog sizes which are: Full Size 8.5 x 11", Slim Size 6 x 9", Digest Size 8.5 x 5.5".
Tip 5 - Clear Order Info - Obviously the most important part of the catalog for you is to clearly specify ordering details. That is your phone number, web page or mailing address.
Tip 6 - Catalog Special Discounts - Make your potential clients feel special by advertising a special code just for catalog buyers. That will give them an extra reason to purchase from you.
Tip 7 - Don't Forget the Ink! - Make sure you have plenty of ink either for your ink cartridge or toner cartridge. You want to print with the best quality possible but not go bankrupt in the process. Have at least 2 replacement cartridges at hand to make your cataloge printing a one time event. Obviously all you need to do for this step is
order now!
